History

Founded in May 2009 by Ginger Garner, M4M is bringing together the passion and best talent of musicians across North Carolina to help the children of Haiti.

Long before the most devestating earthquake in Haiti's history, January 12, the Initiative had already sent over $18,000 in aid to Haiti through Stop Hunger Now and Heifer International.

Immediately after the quake, the Initiative raised an additional $15,693 in 2 weekends. read more.

The night after the deadly quake, M4M musicians gathered into a rehearsal studio for their first practice, with Jacksonville Daily News in attendance to document their efforts.

As of March 7, the MIssion has raised over $45,000 for Haiti in only 6 fundraising events.

M4M 2010 is determined now, more than ever, to make great music to benefit Haitian children and their families.

M4M Official Statement

M4M & HIS Mission is staffed & served entirely by volunteers, which allows M4M to donate all proceeds to child and maternal health projects in Haiti.

Haiti's needs are greater than any country in the western hemipshere. They will continue to need assistance long after the media has left and most Americans have forgotten that 1 in 5 children and 1 in 12 mothers die. M4M remains dedicated to the task of helping Haiti's children.
